AI

AI your firm controls.

Professional secrecy is your duty, and no vendor can certify it for you. So here is exactly what happens to your data, option by option.

Three options. Your partners decide.

Open-weight models run on servers LexRing operates at AWS in Frankfurt. Firm data goes to those servers, not to OpenAI or Anthropic.

What LexAI actually does

LexAI works inside your firm’s day, typed or dictated.

E-mail

Summaries with a suggested task, urgency and category. Reply drafts in your tone and language.

Figures

Ask for billed hours, invoices, absences or deadlines. The number comes from your records, not from a guess.

Prepared entries

Say what you did: LexAI prepares the time entry, task or event. Nothing is saved until you save it.

Incoming documents

Recognises post, reads supplier invoices and contracts, and proposes deadlines for you to confirm.

Case summaries

A summary built from the case’s records, with each sentence citing the event behind it.

Billing texts

Corrects spelling and grammar in case item texts before they reach the client.

What it does not do

  • It does not do legal research.
  • It does not draft legal documents or give legal advice.
  • It does not search your document library.
  • Its output can be wrong. A lawyer must check it before it is used.

What your profession expects

The CCBE guide on generative AI (October 2025) advises lawyers not to enter client data unless appropriate safeguards exist, and to read the provider’s terms. The table above gives you the facts for that decision. Ask us for the data processing agreement and the list of sub-processors before you decide.
